Tales of the Crypt is a fun and free family event that is held annually at Oak Cemetery on 1401 South Greenwood Road. This is a walking event that keeps going rain or shine. This year's Tales of the Crypt is held in conjuction with UAFS students in the Historical Intrepretation Program. Tales of the Crypt is directed by Michael Richardson with a cast of very talented local actors.
Traditionally, there are two guided tours. This year they are on Saturday, April 30th at 8:30pm and on Sunday, May 1st at 3pm. Parking is usually available at Ballman School, Creekmore Park, and along 31st Street. Shuttle buses also run.
